Israeli Military Strikes Gaza
The Israeli Air Force attacked several locations in Gaza on Sunday. Ma’an News reports a total of eight injuries among the affected, with one critically injured. Among the targets were a couple of blacksmith workshops. The Israeli military defended the attacks, claiming that they were in response to the alleged firing of projectiles into southern Israel on Saturday.
The strikes come a few days after previous bombings by Israel of two tunnels and what has been termed to be a weapons-manufacturing facility. In contrast with the most recent attacks, however, Thursday’s strikes caused no casualties among Gazans.
